Thanks to all our visitors and volunteers for making our Open Day such as success.
If you missed out on our tasters or weren’t able to attend the Open Day, why not come down on one of the following Wednesday evenings to experience our hospitality and get out on the water with an experienced helm (booking essential):
On The Day
Please arrive promptly for your scheduled slot and bring your ticket confirmation with you – either on your mobile device or printed. One ticket required per guest. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed to go afloat.
What to Wear for a Sailing Taster
Suitable warm clothing, waterproof trousers and top and trainers. Should you have a wetsuit and neoprene boots then that would also be an option though certainly not essential. If the weather on the day is warm then shorts will be fine. Buoyancy aids will be worn whilst on the water, so if you have one bring it with you, otherwise we will provide you with one on the day. Hot showers are available so bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Learn to Sail
If you decide you would like to learn to sail then the club offers RYA Level 1&2 adult training courses during the year.
Hi, I’d be interested in hearing more about the taster day in may.
Many thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris
Thanks for your interest in our Open Day. Everyone is welcome to visit the club on Saturday 13 May from 11-4pm to have a look around, see our beautiful lake and talk to our membership team. No booking is required and we welcome both those new to sailing and experienced sailors.
We will also be offering taster sails with an experienced club sailor at the helm for those who would like to get out on the water and get a real feel for sailing. These sessions will need to be booked in advance and tickets will be available on the website in the coming weeks.
Hope to see you at the Open Day!
Best wishes Team Littleton
